Neyen Winery Or Nido De Piedras

We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel to start a unique adventure in the heart of Colchagua.
This program offers two alternative trekking routes — you can choose one according to your interests and preferences:

Option 1: Neyen Winery & Apalta Nature Reserve
The day begins at Neyen Winery, one of the pioneering producers of the Apalta Valley. The experience starts at the historic wine cellar – the oldest in Apalta – before walking through its regenerative organic and biodynamic vineyards.
You’ll discover the history of Viña Neyen de Apalta and the singular character of its 130-year-old vines.
From here, you’ll embark on a guided trek through the Apalta Nature Reserve, enjoying the scenic beauty of the valley and its native flora and fauna.
On your return, you’ll stroll across the Wood of Oaks and the Garden of Aromas, learning to identify the scents that inspire Neyen’s wines.
The experience concludes back at the cellar with a premium wine tasting, reflecting Neyen’s philosophy of producing authentic wines with a deep sense of place.

Option 2: Nido de Piedras
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will drive you to a scenic trail in the Colchagua Valley known as Nido de Piedras — named after the three striking rock formations that crown the hillside like giant stone nests.
This low-difficulty trek begins along gentle slopes surrounded by native forest, where you will encounter species such as boldo, quillay, and peumo.
As you ascend, your guide will share the fascinating story of how these lands once captivated Charles Darwin during his explorations of Chile.
The trail offers panoramic viewpoints across vineyards, valleys, and rolling hills, making it a perfect spot for photography and quiet contemplation.
Along the way, you will also observe local birdlife and, with a bit of luck, spot some of the smaller fauna that inhabits this reserve.
The silence, fresh air, and rugged beauty of the landscape will connect you with the pure essence of Colchagua’s nature.

After completing your chosen trek, we will return comfortably to your hotel by early afternoon.
