We will pick you up in the morning from your Hotel. And we will take you to Plaza de Armas main square of Santa Cruz. After welcoming you and give you a brief speech about the tour and protocols, we will begin our bike experience along narrows and swinging roads. We will visit the main square of Isla de Yaquil, passing by the main church which was destroyed during the earthquake in 2010.  Then we will arrive to our first Winery called Viña Maquis is a sustainable winery focus in the production of fine wines being the best ones Cabernet franc and Carmenere. We will walk through its biological corridors and beautiful gardens design by Franc Adriaenssens in 2007 (Belgium designer) There, you will enjoy a delicious picnic prepared with local products, under the shade of our century-old olive trees. Also, you will visit the green house and do the tasting of the icon wines discovering the style of wines made in Maquis winery. …..Hungry? let’s get a bite with the great natural ambience. How that is sound a picnic under 200 years old tree?       Then we will continue to our last stop when you will have a straight contact with nature and great wines. We will have the opportunity to learn and practice how to understand better the world of the wine at our next winery.

In “MontGras”, they started their first project in 1993, they desire to do things right like state-of-the-art technology in all its process, set out from its sustainable conception to be the winery with the best premium wine from Chile. The winery is recognized for this professional work, the constant quality like handling the grapes with great care and minimal amount of movement to ensure the productions of high quality wines

Afterwards, you will have the option to return on same road back to Plaza de Armas for around 14 KMS or ride back with us in the van.
Once we are arriving to the main square you could stay there or we could take you back to your hotel.

ROAD SAFETY
Besides your own on-road safety gear (helmet, rearview mirrors, bright colored jerseys and gloves) we provide a support vehicle that drives at the rear of the group with a road-sign that alert other drivers the presence of bike riders on the road. Drivers in Chile are used to bicycles on the road, so they shouldn’t bother you while riding.
